Do I have to dress up to attend?
At Church One Ministries, we believe that it is not about what you wear but what is in your heart that matters most. You’ll find a mix of people in the congregation dressed in their Sunday best and others dressed casually. We are a supportive community that comes together to worship God, share our faith, and lift each other up. Our focus is on the joyful, empowering experience of connecting with God together. Come join us to see what our community is all about!
Do I have to belong to your denomination to attend?
Not at all. We are a church that welcomes people from all walks of life, regardless of their religious background. Our congregation is made up of individuals from different traditions and cultures, brought together by our shared commitment to following the teachings of Jesus Christ. We offer spiritual guidance and support to our members as they navigate their faith journey.
Do you host evening services?
Evening service occurs every first Sunday at 6pm. During this time we share in the sacrament of communion and deepen our connection to each other and our faith.
Am I able to use the church for special events?
Our administrative office is open Monday through Friday from 9am to 3pm. Our staff is always happy to answer your questions and provide assistance however we can. For information on special events such as weddings and funerals, as well as how to reserve the church for your event, please call (562)633-2515.
How do I become a member of Church One?
Membership is an essential part of our ministry and we make it simple for interested persons to join. In-person attendees can join during service at the designated time, while virtual visitors can contact our church office to speak to a representative from our new members ministry. We are proud to offer resources and support to help members grow spiritually and connect with the community.
Do you offer a nursery?
Our ministry is currently seeking volunteers to help us with the launch of our Nursery program. We are working diligently to create a safe and nurturing environment for your children, so you can participate in our services with peace of mind. We hope to have our Nursery program up and running by mid-2024, pending volunteer availability.
What is available for children?
At Church One Ministries, we understand the importance of investing in the next generation. This is why we offer Kidz Corner, an exciting ministry for children ages 5-12 which engages them in worship and learning about Christ. We also have the Young Ones youth ministry that caters to young people aged 13-19, which helps them deepen their relationship with God and develop a strong sense of community. Both of these programs have customized curriculums that are relative to the demographics and values of our congregation.
Where is guest parking?
We have ample parking in the lot rear of the church. Once full, street parking is also available.
